Welcome to the PRAISE and PRAYER wall
Prayer works. It’s just that simple. When folks pray things change. If you would like prayer for a specific need (or if you would like to PRAISE GOD!) why not take 10 seconds and enter it here. Simply click “SHARE YOUR PRAYER REQUEST” below and fill in the form.
Sharing a request here activates our Pastors, Elders and our in-house Prayer Chain.
PLEASE REMEMBER: This is the internet so please don’t share any information about others without their permission and you need to be careful with any details you share.
We had our first Quizzing night yesterday and the quizzers are all looking forward to a new season.
As they begin the new year, we would like to request prayer for continued enthusiasm throughout the season. That the quizzers would enjoy their time in the Word. That the time they spend memorizing verses would be refreshing and fun. That they gain a better understanding of the heart of Father God, and come closer to Jesus. Pray that Holy Spirit would quicken the words that they read, giving them new revelation, and giving them wisdom to understand what they are learning. That we would see visible evidence of the application of God’s Word in their lives. And that they could recognize how God’s Word applies to them today.
Please pray that time would open up each day and each week for them to learn their verses. That there would be no stress or pressure felt by any of the quizzers to fit it all in with their homework, school and other activities. Please pray for a mind to learn for each quizzer - that they would have no troubles learning their verses. And that Holy Spirit would guide the coaches, giving us wisdom to know our students needs and learning styles.
Finally, please pray that all of the students would be encouraged to jump and answer questions. That nerves, and shyness would melt away and be replaced with confidence and boldness. Pray also that they have opportunities to share what they are learning with friends at school and at home. Pray that all of the students would feel included and that they would each have a sense of church family and friendship every Sunday night.
